Got a breakfast sandwich with egg/cheese/sausage on focaccia. For starters this sandwich was $15.... Should be more in the $10 range. Second would be the egg - looked like frozen eggs or egg beaters poured into a brick. Last but definitely NOT least - the sausage. Who in the world makes a breakfast sandwich with sausage crumbles? You read that right - not a patty...crumbles. Ultimately I was really let down as 2 sandwiches and a muffin shouldnt put you out the door at $37. As a prior TC local that has moved out east a few years ago - this place felt overpriced and skimpy on the food. The only redeeming factor was my daughter's breakfast roll - that was worth $6.

We were looking for a quick place to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee from, this place has well exceeded our expectations. From their house made bread to their amazing service, I am so glad to have searched the best bakery near me!

This was such a surprise! The place looked like a cute little cafe/bakery. A place I’d hide away from a rainy day with a nice espresso. However, the dinner blew my mind! My family and I came by for a quick bite to eat which turned into a full experience starting with the amazing drinks and homemade sourdough bread. The salads were incredibly fresh, I had the heirloom tomato..followed by their world famous pesto pizza. It truly was world famous! Best pizza I’ve had in awhile. Not to mention their baked goods. My mom bought out their last tray of items consisting of chocolate croissants, cinnamon buns, almond croissants and more! We will be back tomorrow..no joke! Thank you to the entire staff to catered to our hungry appetite the whole time.

$18 for a sandwich and $2 extra for chips. Walked in and walked out. The fact that people support these kinds of places is a part of the problem…

We visited Common Good Bakery for breakfast sandwiches before golf on Friday and went back on Sunday for more!
The house breakfast sandwiches were wonderful! The egg patty thick and the bread homemade. The bread really made sandwich in my opinion. Both ham and bacon options were yummy, though I preferred the ham.
The prices seemed too high to me, and I understand the area I was in and the time of year. Given that, that’s the only reason I am leaving a 4 star review

Great pasties, and a nice atmosphere, but stay away from the breakfast sandwiches. The ciabatta is thin and pale; the eggs taste like a precooked microwave disc—basically you’re looking at something that is one step up from Starbucks. For a place that seems committed to quality, those sandwiches are shockingly bad.
We usually love coming here for pastries and coffee but this morning was a miss. Our lattes were room temperature at best and the young lady at the register was mumbling and so quiet, and not friendly at all. I'm not old & my hearing is excellent but I kept having to ask her to repeat herself to which she seemed annoyed. We will be back, today must have been an off & unusual day.
My husband, two dogs and I got an AirBnb in Traverse City for 5 nights and stumbled upon this gem because it was near our condo. We went here on the first night and got carbonara and salads. Amazed by the deliciousness, we came back for breakfast, and then got pastries to go. Before our drive home, we got $85 in bread and pastries to go. I have been on a search for a delicious croissant outside of France for 10 years. I found it. I highly recommend: the carbonara, pizzas, the breakfast tartines, and the croissants. We also got the baguette, the peasant bread, country sour dough and the garlic toasts. I will probably make the 4.5 hour drive to come back to this bakery, so you tell me how many stars that’s worth!

The pesto pasta is fantastic! Wonderfully sauced with garlicky pesto on thick noodles!

Great food, pasta, pizza etc. Cozy atmosphere and waitstaff were helpful. Large selection of beverages. The dinner menu is small, but the food is excellent and prices aren't too bad. Also they sell baked goods at the front. The bread was excellent.
