SO SAD,DQ HAS GREAT FOOD! BUT NOT IN TRAVERSE CITY!! AT ALL

I'm fascinated with this location, it is so convenient, usually I do exercises thru the trail road with my bike, and this location have an outdoor bicycle stand, so after I can get my sweet treat and some pretzel sticks, they are awesome, they have the best milkshakes and Blizzards, I'm always excited about new flavors
Good job to the manager!

Helpful staff, nice and convenient location at East Bay Township, very clean, I go there many times during the week after work, my children's love this place, we always get the cute ice cream cakes for all the family celebrations

Well I made a mistake by going to DQ for lunch. Two chill dogs, a pop with more ice than soda and soft pretzels with queso dip and a small bag of chips. Cost me almost $16. I would've been better off eating at a gas station. I will not go back and definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to this place.

The staff here is the best. I came here as my final meal due to my body holding a failed kidney for so long, but a worker here offered to give me his for $1.06, and now I am able to write this review today.

Very inattentive service as the staff was too busy looking at their phones to pay attention. Furthermore the product had bits of other stuff that did not belong like who wants Reeses cup bit mix on with a orange shake it’s just not good.

I'm not very impressed with the service here. This place only serves hot dogs when DQ is popularly known for hamburgers, chicken tenders, fries, etc. This place needs a major upgrade to its menu

Not to mention that when we arrived, one off the outdoor dining area tables was dirty, and the employee who served me came and wiped down the table me and my mom were sitting at with glass cleaning rather than sanitizer.

Employees will call the police on you if you are parked nextdoor at a car wash to hang out and smoke a cigarette and chill on your phone.

Terrible service. Placed A mobile order on my phone and the drive thru guy said my order for a small shake wasn’t ready and to go back around in line again and wait
meanwhile people behind me ordered more after my order was placed and yet they were serviced before me.

I don't understand why if I order a regular sized Orange Julius and a cup of ice cream why the staff is unable to put both of those paid products in a larger cup. And then if you are paying with card they have the audacity to ask you for a tip like they didn't tell me to (metaphorically) go screw myself on my order that I had to diy put together in my car.

Don't get me wrong hot dogs are pretty good and the ice cream is always good I just wish the staff members were more capable of doing things instead of telling customers no especially as something as simple as this.

Would give less stars if I could. My family and I had a horrible experience with this location. We had ordered a custom birthday cake for my niece’s 6th birthday back in February 20th of 2025, for a pickup date of March 14th 2025. That’s 22 days. We received confirmation email and all.

We went to pick up this cake on the 15th of March 2025 as we had to delay our party. Before leaving to pick it up, we called this location to make sure they had our cake. This is where things got frustrating. They said that they didn’t have our cake. Despite it being ordered 22 days ago.

When arriving to this location, we were greeting by one single teenage employee (playing on his phone.) we had showed him our confirmation email saying that it would be ready the day before, and he went to check in the back to see if our cake was there. He returned stating that there was no cake back there for our order. We asked about having it made that day and were willing to delay the party yet again in order to have the correct cake for my niece. He stated that it wouldn’t be ready until “late in the day” on the 16th because the “cake lady” is only there in the morning. Essentially meaning that it wasn’t an option for us.
I questioned him as to if there was a manager present or if there was a number I could call for this “cake lady”. I wasn’t given a number, and told that there was no management on duty.

We opted to get a premade cake (different shape, size, and color than the cake my niece had designed for an hour with her mother) because it was our only option. Upon going to the display case I glanced into the back of the store. To see another employee sitting on a bucket playing on his phone.

I left my number to be contacted by a manager or this “cake lady” and have received nothing back. Not a call, voicemail, email, nothing.

Moral of the story: If you want consistency, good work ethic, or to be served by anybody other than unenthusiastic teenagers. This is not the location to do so.

And if you want things done by the time that you have confirmed with the location over three weeks in advance, I wouldn’t count this location to do that for you.
