An absolute gem just a few blocks from our hotel. Even with limited seating that evening due to unexpected staffing shortages, the team handled everything with professionalism and care. The back-of-house staff truly went above and beyond to ensure guests still had an outstanding experience, and it absolutely showed.

While staying in Traverse City, we ventured upon this delicious restaurant. The food was amazing, from the appetizers to the entrees,to the sides, and the drinks; everything was delicious! I would highly recommend their Smoked Cherry Sour, the Smoked & Deep-Fried Wings, the Sword Fish & Black Lentils, and the Smoked Pork Rinds. And the staff? They were friendly and accommodating. Henry catered my baby shower in November and he was so amazing to work with. Kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond by helping us out when we forgot to get dishes for leftovers. Our friends and family still mention how incredible the food was!
Since then, Smoke and Porter has been on my list to visit for a meal and last night I finally got to go alongside my mom and brother.
