I understand that product needs to be rotated, but this needed to be considered expired. They will let you sample the fresh fudge, then go get you a pre-packaged that's hard and stale. Grandkids even thought it was nasty. Make sure you get from what you sample.

The woman helping me was unfriendly and appeared irritated at my slow decision-making. Not once did she smile. Some of the time she just looked out the window, as if I wasn’t even there! Once home, I tasted the fudge & it was old & rancid! I will never visit a Murdick’s Fudge store again! What an awful way to run a business!

Very disappointed. Fudge was dry and obviously days old. Very limited selection. No "fun flavors ". Girl behind the counter didn't even greet us or ask if she could help us. Had this fudge last year in mackinaw and it was delicious. Traverse city fails in comparison. Bought it for my family back home and ended up throwing it out because I was too embarrassed to give away old fudge.

agreed with some of the reviews about the fudge. very sugary and tasteless. had to throw them out. luckily I only bought 2 pieces. but the taffy were great!
service was just okay as well

Decent fudge - nothing phenomenal. But I was sorely disappointed to find a 27 cent, non-cash charge on my receipt. It would have been nice to be told ahead of time. I totally had cash that I would have used had I been forewarned with a standard sign near the check out.

If you can't make the trip to Mackinac Island, this is the next best thing. Of course, the fudge is made in house and not just shipped from Mackinac. They have all the mainstays and plenty of uncommon flavors. Whatever you get, you won't be disappointed.

My daughter's love fudge (I'm guilty as well) so I was easily convinced to stop in for a treat. I must say the fudge was so creamy and soft. A thin slice would not require chewing, you could literally let it melt away on your tongue. The two flavors we tried were great and they had a pretty big selection of choices. The shop itself was very clean and well kept. They have a small selection of gift type items perhaps to go along with the fudge if you were giving as a gift. The staff was pleasant and greeted us as we came in. My only negative is I felt it was slightly pricey. I get that it's a indulgence but there was a moment of sticker shock. Still loved the fudge thou.
