Based on the reviews, Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The moment you step inside, the heavenly smell of caramel hits you. They make their fudge fresh right in the store, and it is absolutely delicious, rich, and perfectly creamy. Kilwins fudge has thicker slices and is much more creamy than Murdicks. The best homemade waffle cone is available, which does not get soggy the longer the ice cream sits in it. The portion size is larger than expected, and two scoops is enough for 2.5 people. The real stars are the caramel apples, especially the apple pie one, and the popcorn is out of this world. They also have good milkshakes, with the Traverse City mud being a favorite. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful, offering tons of free samples. One staff member, Ziggy, was so kind and helpful that it brought the experience to a 5 star.
