Staff were friendly. Food was average. The photos make it seem better than it tastes. I got the fish tacos and the fish was good but everything else seemed average. The tacos said it came with avocado but it tastes like the prepackaged guacamole and unfresh. I also had the skewers over sweet potato fries which also seemed average. The fries were a little soggy and the meals were served lukewarm temp. The seating outside was beautiful
3.5 stars: great drinks and sushi, but subpar entrees (dry mashed potatoes, a subpar cut of steak, and overdone steak in the steak udon). We wish we would've just ordered sushi!
I come to Traverse City once or twice a year. I don't know why I don't come here every time, but I need to start because Firefly is phenomenal! I've had several things on the menu between food and drinks, and have never been disappointed. There's something for everybody here, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Great outdoor and indoor seating, basically on the river, close walk to main downtown.
