This is the best pie I have ever had!! Other than my mom and Grandmother's, this is seriously the best pie EVER!!! I will be traveling back to Traverse City just for this pie. The Cherry Crumb is a must try!!! The crumb is perfectly crispy and crumbly. The crust is flaky and buttery. Then there is the cherry filling bring them both together. It's a Master class in pie craft.
Foood and service were wonderful! My husband had the chicken pot pie and salad. Both were delicious. I had the Cherry chicken salad. It was also delicious. Then, the strawberry rhubarb pie and blueberry pie were the best ever!!
A big thank you to the original Grand Traverse Pie Company on West Front Street in Traverse City. I've been here twice within the past four weeks and both experiences were superb. Not only do they have amazing pies in a variety of flavors, they also have a great menu of sandwiches, soups, salads, quiche, and more. For my birthday last month I enjoyed the fifteen dollar reward and had quiche and salad which also came with a side of dressings, a.baguette, and delicious pumpkin...
