Hunan is our go to place for Chinese takeout. It’s always been good but it’s time to let Traverse City know that tonight was exceptional. Our standard order of Chicken Egg Foo Young, Honey Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, and we tried the Pepper Beef Combo just for the heck of it was truly delicious and very well-made. It’s so easy these days to point out when a restaurant fails because we’re paying a higher price than normal, but when a restaurant gets it right and gets it right...

I first went to Hunan when I was 12 with my family, I’m now 19 and this is now a special place my partner and I eat at. Never had a negative experience. Meat is always cooked fantastically, I personally hate beef but oh my…… the way they cook beef here is just irresistible.
