All self service. We got a charcuterie board (which barely has any meat in it) and 2 flights of wine and carried it to our table. For comparison, we went to brys estate vineyards yesterday and the charcuterie board was much nicer (with plenty of meat) and the flight had an extra glass of wine each! And it was the same price (with tax and tip) and full service!
đ Mari Vineyards â Stunning Views, Exceptional Wine, and Outstanding Service
Mari Vineyards is a feast for the senses. Perched atop a hill with a direct view of East Arm Grand Traverse Bay, this winery offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the region. You could sit and stare foreverâthe views alone are worth the visit.
The wine selection leans toward the dry side, but every pour delivers on flavor and craftsmanship. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or just exploring, you'll find something to savor. đˇ
What truly elevates the experience is the staff. They're not only friendly and welcoming, but impressively knowledgeable about the wines and the vineyardâs history. Their recommendations are spot-on, and they make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
Beyond wine, they offer a fun variety of flavored soft drinksâmango, strawberry, orange, pineapple, and even grapefruitâwhich is a thoughtful touch for non-drinkers or those looking to mix things up. Their light selection of hors d'oeuvres pairs beautifully with the wine and rounds out the experience.
We make it a point to stop by every time we're in the Traverse City area. Between the stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, and well-curated offerings, Mari Vineyards continues to be a highlight of our visits.
Nice winery. Great selection. Great view
Our favorite winery of the trip, gorgeous views and surprisingly good reds.
Great place, awesome views and spectacular wine!
Mari Wineyard was the first winery we visited in Michigan and it really set the bar high. The wines are legit, truly good with a great selection to choose from. The price per bottle is a bit on the pricey side, but the tasting itself is about average compared to others in the area. Their white wines are excellent, the rosĂŠ is not bad at all, and the reds are solid as well.
The patio is wonderful and has a much more intimate feel compared to other places. It feels romantic, cozy, and very pleasant to spend time at. They also offer charcuterie boards which pair perfectly with the wines. Overall, we were not disappointed at all and left with a really positive impression.
Great view and wines.
The view was pretty. My family and I got charcuterie board snd the flight. We also got the desert wine. Everything was yummy. I brought the bottle of desert wine and a wine glass to take hone. Looking forward to going there next year.
âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Absolutely wonderful experience at Mari Vineyards! The setting is stunning, the wines are exceptional, and the staff truly make the visit unforgettable. We had the pleasure of taking a tour, and it was top notchâinformative, engaging, and gave us such a great appreciation for the care and passion behind every bottle. A special shoutout to Stacey in the tasting roomâshe was warm, knowledgeable, and made our tasting experience so enjoyable. You can tell everyone here loves what they do, and it shows in every detail. Canât wait to return, and Iâll absolutely be recommending Mari Vineyards to the families and groups I work with as a travel advisor. This is a Northern Michigan gem! đˇđż
Recommended to my daughter and I. Enjoyed the 4 large pours for taste testing. Mari tends to be more dry wines (which isn't my preference) but my daughter loved her wine tasting. Beautiful view!

First off- it is a beautiful property with wonderful views of the bays. The line to get wine was LONG, literaly 30 people or more in line at a time. We booked ( and paid a pretty penny) a photo session for a bridal party with about 30 people in our group. We had a hard time finding parking. Once inside, there was staff to direct us and took our group down to the lower level in the cellar which was a cool experience. However, they then lead us outside to a small space with a pretty door. But the space was not 'opened' or ready for us to use. There were leaves, broken glass, random furniture, equipement all over the space we were suppose to us for photos. They did provide us with two bottles of water to share for the group. We were provided with a staff member to guide us, but once we were outside, they locked the door so we could not get back in. We had to walk all the way around the property and up a huge hill to get back to the winery. This is not a huge deal, but we did have elders and women in heels as this was a wedding. The 'path' up the hill was a light mulch to say the least. Once back to the winery, it was super busy so the photo spost were very limited.
Beautiful!
One of our favorites! Fantastic view with outdoor and indoor seating. Amazing tastes.
Great experience! Best wine experience outside of California and Europe.
The views were beautiful, the wine and service was ok. Go for the vibes!
