Had the BEST tour with Lori!! Definitely recommend taking a glass of wine and going on the tour when you arrive.

Went for a private tour with my wife for our 17th anniversary and had a spectacular time. The wine was exceptional and our tour guide Renee was simply amazing. Her passion for the wines made the experience so much better than when some tours sound like the tour guide is reading from a script. I highly recommend.

Good wine. Spectacular views of the water. So many fireplaces to relax by inside and out and just all around great atmosphere

Every experience I’ve had at Mari has never disappointed. It’s absolutely beautiful in the summertime with the views. But coming in the winter is just as cozy and inviting. Service this evening was so attentive and knowledgeable. The wine was great & paired nicely with a delicious focaccia board + house made cannollis.

You come to MV for the gorgeous setting, not the overpriced wine from grapes that aren't from Michigan. The building, land, and views are stunning. The wine's not bad, honestly. It's pretty tasty. Most of the bottles are out of a teacher's budget :-( I really love getting wine that's all local, so to find out that they aren't a truly Michigan product was disappointing. Will it stop me from visiting when I'm in the area? Most likely not. It's too beautiful.

Arrived in time for Happy Hour! Busy place but they had plenty of staff to help everyone we tried two excellent glasses of wine the SIMPLICISSIMUS SPARKLING RIESLING and TROGLODYTE BIANCO both were wonderful easy drinking wines. They could easily go with a nice Thai dish or with a charcuterie board. The app were very tasty snacks to enjoy with the wines. The meatball were a nice mix of pork and beef and seasoned perfectly. The crostini was a perfect bite for an afternoon snack with a wonderful balance of flavors. This is a stop if your on Old Mission Peninsula.

Thoroughly enjoyed this winery. My family and I booked the tour as well which was absolutely fantastic. we had a wine flight and ordered some appetizers. It was great. my only issue is that I bought $200 or so in merchandise including wine I did not realize until I got home that I tipped them 20% just for the bottles of wine and merchandise. It seems a little absurd to me to ask somebody to tip for me to buy product. I have absolutely no issue tipping for the service for the wine flight and the food but this is a stretch.

Must stop in when on the peninsula

Situated a brief drive from Traverse City, this winery is an impressive destination. Positioned atop a hill, it offers captivating views of the surroundings. The architectural design seamlessly guides visitors through a journey reflecting the diverse wines available. Notably, the wines on offer strike a balance between the distinct sweetness characteristic of Michigan varieties and the drier, more California-style wines, providing a well-rounded tasting experience.

The wine is great, but I'm here to talk about the customer service. After the weather forecast squashed plan A for a proposal, a family member recommended Mari and I called there looking to make a plan B. Andy was an absolute joy to work with on the phone, and after a few minutes, I had a new plan that I knew was way better than the first one. On the big day, Katherine gave us a private tour and did a great job making herself scarce for the big moment. After, we had a private tasting and some champagne to celebrate. Everyone we worked with was so accommodating and helpful, and it helped me make the most special day possible! We can't wait to come back for some more wine!

Wine and atmosphere impeccable, and food delicious. However, the service was slow and not very attentive (was noticed and ignored at the door for a good 5minutes) Plus, the $30 charcuterie board had more veggies than meat and cheese. Rather disappointing experience this time.

Came with my besties early on a Saturday afternoon, they were busy but not too busy where there were no seats. We sat outside since it was decent out and it so nice they had a fireplace to sit at and the views were amazing. Staff was super friendly and nice and we didn't order food just got the different wine flights. Everything was amazing.
