We kind of forgot about Middlecoast over the years even though we live near downtown but thankfully made our way back recently. The food is great! Their big fries are delicious and the perfect amount of crispy. The vibe is always nice and not too busy. Our servers have been so pleasant. My kids were the first to ask to add it our rotation of regular places to eat.
We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party in their outdoor beer garden. They were very responsive, communicative, and friendly while we planned the event from out of state. It was a great space for a big group with lots of big picnic tables and also lots of space for people to walk around and mingle. It felt private enough from the rest of the restaurant but it was also easy to get inside to use the bathrooms (or in the case of some of our guests, play the arcade...
They've made a lot of improvements over the last few years. Love the food here, with many gluten free options. Best trivia night in town on Wednesday. Good beer and the elderberry mead when its on tap is definitely worth a try!
