Great spot for foodies! The service is good and the atmosphere is nice and calm, but still has lots of character. The food is fantastic and you can tell it is fresh, quality ingredients which make such a difference in the taste (and how you feel after eating it.) Overall, highly recommend. Reasonable price for the flavor and quality of the food. Def make the trip over if you can!
This restaurant is a culinary gem, and I highly recommend it. We had a delightful spread of dishes, including the Caesar salad, double-baked sweet potatoes, lamb pasta, mussels frites, chicken, beets, and a couple of desserts. Each dish was expertly prepared, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The Caesar salad was a standout, with its tangy dressing and fresh ingredients. We had the pleasure of dining last night at the Old Mission Tavern which is under new ownership. My wife and I had the Pan fried Trout and the Seafood Paella. Both were excellent, but our favorite was the Trout. The Trout was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp crust. The sunchoke salad topping on the Trout was delicious and really elevated the dish. The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable and we can’t wait to return!
