Rare Bird never disappoints. Great food, exceptional cocktails, and a staff that’s actually happy to see you. I especially appreciate that all the burgers are available with gluten-free buns—and they’re actually delicious. And the pride flag at the entrance? Says everything about the vibe: welcoming, inclusive, and worth coming back to.
Whether you’re a local or visiting this is the place to to be. Grab a bite, unwind and soak in all traverse city has to offer. Food is phenomenal, drinks are superb and staff is what makes this place truly special. Ryan, Nikki, Hannah, made my afternoon. They provided excellent service and gave me good vibes for the day. Happy customer, will be returning.
My experience was $120 lunch for four. Charged us adult burger prices for two kids burgers because one kid wanted LTO and the other cheese. My Bahn Mi didn’t have any sauce on it any my server seemed annoyed by our presence already so why bother asking. My wife got the 3 course meal for restaurant week. Shrimp was ok but the risotto was extremely salty and not edible. Very disappointed and will not be back.
