We dined for the first time at Reflect Bistro last week. We are already looking forward to a return trip. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our meal from the cocktails, to the appetizer, the entrees, and the delicious cherry bread pudding for dessert. Our server was excellent as well. I had previously read many positive reviews of Reflect Bistro, and I can see now why everyone had such high recommendations for it.
This was our second visit. We arrived for our reservation and the first seat we were taken to was just feet from the hostess stand as well as the pathway to enter/exit the restaurant/hotel lobby. We asked to sit elsewhere and the hostess moved us. Our server was lovely. Attentive, but not overly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Very large portions. We had hot crab dip for our appetizer, and for meals we ordered an east bay cherry salad, Lake Huron walleye, and the maple fig salmon....
This was a last minute reservation for my 65th Birthday and it had been a decade since we were there last. We had a fantastic time, laughed a lot, the hostess and neighboring table had a great time watching us enjoy ourselves. We asked the waitress for recommendations, we tried 3 different entrees she suggested and were blown away. I received a free dessert and left wondering why it had been so long.
