What not to love! We stayed in Traverse City for 2 and a half days. Two of the days we ate here it was that good. We were there during peak time and a slow time and both times the service and food were of great quality.The table favorite was the Black Cherry Pancakes. Just get them, no hesitation!

I love starting my day with a visit to The Cottage for breakfast whenever I'm in town. The restaurant has a neat and inviting ambiance with friendly staff. The culinary offerings never disappoint, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
Go for the Friday night fish fry. Absolutely fantastic fresh fish. Home made coleslaw and Tatar sauce is very good as well.

Decently clean, kind of reminded us of a cafeteria. Waitress was mediocre but nice. Food was absolutely terrible. I had the pot roast dinner and the pot roast was very dry and the mashed potatoes appeared and tasted old. My fiancé wouldn’t even try a bite. Her French fries weren’t cooked all the way, she took a bite of her Cole slaw and spit it in a napkin and said it almost made her sick. Wish it would have been a better experience. Nothing could make us come back.
