This place is compact and fancy. We did make a reservation earlier in the day for dinner, just in case. The waitress was great. Food was elegant with perfect portions. I got the mushroom gnocchi and other dish was chicken& mushroom picatta. We got the fried calamari, which was good.... but instead of the typical circles/ rings that are offered, we got some rings and some legs. Like... literally octopus legs. It's hard to eat squiggly legs when they're presented. Maybe that's just our preference, but we couldn't eat half of the appetizer because of that. That was the only negative of the experience. I don't recommend to get the fried calamari. But def recommend the other foods!!!Vegetarian options: Mushroom gnocchi, alfredo

Gnocchi is hard to find and they have it. Not only do they have it, it's delicious. The Alfredo sauce is easily the #1 Alfredo sauce I've ever had. Perfectly balanced flavors. Simple menu with plenty of options and a nice drink selection. I'll be back for the same exact meal again. AND AGAIN!! ?

A great little spot in TC. The place is very small so if you don't go early, you'll be waiting a little while. The food is spot on. We had the garlic dots, the bolognese, and the marinara. All dishes were excellent. Will come back again when in town.

This place is definitely worth the stop if you are in Traverse City! The pasta was amazing and the Brussels sprout and calamari were amazing. The eggplant part sandwich was also great. Just unique food and great service. It was relatively priced for the area too as we got two appetizers and 2 entrees.

This was our second time back to Flying Noodle and once again, everything was OUTSTANDING! April was our waitress and she was sweet, incredibly helpful, and made our experience top tier. Hands down, our favorite place to visit in TC!

Amazing little Italian restaurant. Very tiny so recommend reservations if you can. We had a 30 minute wait on a Thursday but it was SO WORTH IT. Gluten free noodles are available and everything was fresh and delicious. We especially loved the short rib pasta. A new staple for us in Traverse City.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta
