the 2 guys there were dedicated craftsman and it showed in the quality of the food. the eel and soft shell crab was excellent. And the sunomono was dynamite!!!

No frills joint where the food is the reason to go. A limited menú and, in the restaurant's defense, why offer more when what you do serve is SO good? We had 4 rolls and all where exceptional. If we lived in Traverse City, we would surely be regular customers.

if you’re looking for quality fish in traverse city this is the perfect place! this hidden gem had great food, great service and reasonable prices! the presentation of the food - ordered the fire in a bowl and daikon salmon sashimi plate - was amazing and will definitely come back for more
