Almost made the mistake of settling for whatever coffee was available on DoorDash while on vacation, and I’m glad I didn’t. Made the walk to the Warehouse Mrkt to support a local business. I ordered a cold brew with cream and maple cinnamon syrup and couldn’t pass up on the smutty burrito once I saw it on the menu. The coffee was perfectly brewed and the syrup made it even better. We were in town for Valentine’s Day with our teens and started things off at this wonderful coffee shop. While we played games, we had a delicious coffee with house-made syrup, a chai, and a smoothie to drink. Plus the Bougie Toast, mini waffle special and a bagel to eat. Everything was exceptionally delicious! The ambience was bright and inspiring and the staff was friendly and patient while we tried to make our order decisions.We visit independent coffee shops just about everywhere...

As I was searching for a spot to read this morning I happened on Water Bearer Coffee in the warehouse district of Traverse City. And I'm glad I did!

I ordered the egg and havarti sandwich on wheat; but you can also get it on a Bubbies Bagel or white bread as well.

I also had the Carmel Latte. I asked if it was sweet and was encouraged to let the barista know how sweet I wanted it-- on a scale of 1-10 in sweetness I like the 11.
