Elizabeth Perk Coffee & Ice Cream is a popular spot for coffee and ice cream enthusiasts. Located along the Detroit River on Jefferson, the restaurant features a nice patio area for outdoor seating. The coffee is of good quality, and the ice cream is a highlight, with a variety of flavors to choose from. The ice cream is incredible and you can tell they make it themselves in house! The Peanut Butter Iditarod is amazing, by far, a favorite. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp leading to the door and handicap spots available. The atmosphere is unique, with eccentric decor inside. Visitors can enjoy a unique drink like an Affogato, which combines quality ice cream with espresso. The service was very polite and everyone is always so pleasant. The drive-through feature is loved. While it's not open year-round, it's a great spot to visit, especially with kids, who will love the ice cream.
