“buckhorn generally puts out some amazing food. Pete is a great cook! I was really disappointed the last 2-3 times we were there. my husband had back surgery and he's not really supposed to do anything or go anywhere. it was our anniversary and we had a friend here from down state that we have been wanting to bring there for the prime rib. hubby called early and told Pete we were coming and to hold 3 dinners for us and we'd be there around 5. when we get there the waitress was actually kind of rude and crabby. granted, it was busy, but that's no excuse for the attitude. after waiting for over an hour we got our food, minus all the fixings that they ran out of. (second time this happened to us when calling in our meal bringing guests). some people might think it's no big deal, but if I wanted to eat a hunk of meat with deep fried beans and french fries, I would have just ordered a hamburger and fries. I think that I will be done eating at the buckhorn for awhile. seems like when they are busy, you don't matter, when it's slow, you do.”

“Definitely a dive bar. Depends on who is serving you will determine your service quality. Go during the day time and service is great. The burgers and pizza are good. The fries are the best I have had. Beer is cold and mixed drinks are strong. My favorite bar during the daytime hours!”
