Seated 30min after reservation time, not informed of chef shortage until seated. Our party was seated in the coldest section of the restaurant (as mentioned by the waitress) we had to keep our winter coats on the entire time here. No chef until 2 HOURS after arrival! Never going to another Benihana after this experience.
This pains me to do this because this was my absolute favorite restaurant. WAS! The past few times have been less than desirable. The prices keep going up, and the food quality keeps going down. This last time was the straw that broke the camel's back. I made a reservation for 7:30pm for our anniversary. When we arrived, we were told that they were running a tad bit behind, about 15 minutes.
