I have been to this fabulous spot many times, and joined their wine club. But they went above and beyond on valentines day. I had my own Galentine’s Day and they prepared the most amazing vegetarian lasagna ever. My Italian guests were blown away! I needed olives and crackers and check check check! They have it all at their retail section. Already setting up my next date to go for wine and apps.

Can't speak highly enough of the delicious food, the kind faces, and overall care for the customer experience. This is the place I send all of my family and friends for anniversaries, special celebrations, and those times you just want to be pampered.
And, the best part (for fans of small producer and natural/biodynamic wines) is that they expanded next door with a gorgeous wine bar. If you want a high end bottle, they've got it. If you want a budget banger, they've got it too! Can't wait to be back.

I really hate to leave a bad review on a local establishment but I have to be honest-- not worth your money nor your time. My husband and I went out for a really special occasion and splurged on La Cucina and Vino Lab. I commend these owners for putting themselves out there. Some food was too salty, some lacked any taste, pasta was overworked, crackers were stale, and gelato was runny. This is not quite what we had in mind. The decor was trendy and tasteful - it's a shame the food wasn’t. We even got significantly up charged for a bottle of wine in La Cucina and laughed that they evidently only paid $29 for it and forgot to take their sticker off. Overall, staff and chefs were nice, not a 7, certainly not a 9, course meal as promised. The chefs did stop by and ask how our dinner was - we were honest. If you want to give it a try - maybe it's worth your $XX per plate. In my book, neither the Vino Lab nor La Cucino Lab are worth it. Over priced and meh food.

Took my family and inslaws for dinner. For all of them it was the first such experience and it was amazing. We were all blown away by the level of service, the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food! The atmosphere was also fantastic; it’s upscale but not uptight. It’s a perfect blend. Will be back 100%.
Very welcoming and extremely attentive staff. Acoustics were minimal as you could carry on a conversation without background noise from other tables. Atmosphere was very inviting. Food presentation was lovely. For the price of our experience I thought the flavors were just okay.

I tried to find a real Italian Restaurant and tonight after 1 year in Michigan I finally found it!!! The food perfect, not like some restaurant that serves food that they call Italian but they are not even close to that!! Service was great, everyone smiling and very friendly. Quality of the food excellent, I felt like as I was eating at home! Love it!!! I have to say that if you close your eyes wile you are eating you can feel in Italy for real!

This place is incredible. The beef short ribs melted off the bone and the pasta with Gorgonzola cheese was amazing. For a special occasion this is the place to go. The service was spectacular and the staff was knowledgeable and kind.
