First time at El Guanaco and was incredibly pleased! Steak taco was absolutely terrific, very flavorful and I wish I had gotten at least one more! Never having a papusa before I'm now a huge fan! Mine was cheese, beans, and pork recommended to me by the waitress, would 100% reorder next time I'm there. The fried plantains were very delicious. My favorite restaurant in Michigan. I love their papusas. As well as El Guanaco 2 in Auburn Hills. All the food is great and home style, the fried plantains are a great dessert. I really don't like to eat out but I trust this place over all of them. Thank you for your years of hard work keeping a real restaurant around.

One of our absolute favorite restaurants. The pupusas are my go-to. My son too. The staff is always super friendly. There aren’t very many tables, but we’ve never had to wait long. Highly recommend.
