We heard about this Asian restaurant in Troy not too far away from the Somerset Mall. The location is facing Big Beaver Road but parking in the back. The plaza is actually quite small with a few atores. The restaurant is not that big but it's long with booths along the wall. The front cashier area looks very busy when you first walk in, with a lot of stuff on the counter. I didn't like that. We ordered the oxtail pho and curry chicken with rice. Food is fine....

We love coming to Pho Shi as a family. Our 8-year-old daughter always looks forward to their Chicken Pho, and it has become one of our favorite Southeast Asian comfort food spots. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and after meeting the owner, John, a few times, you can really sense the family-oriented vibe he brings to the restaurant. It’s the kind of place that feels comforting, genuine, and easy to keep coming back to.
