The Shawerma sandwich is anything but not Lebanese authentic Shawerma. I think it's better to call it chicken sandwich , the bread and garlic sauce is good.

La Saj is the best Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurant in the area, bar none. If you haven't tried this awesome place, do yourself a favor and visit!

It was good. Not anything special but good enough for me to go back. The sandwich was stuffed I loved that and I haven't had a shawarma with pickled parsnips in a long time. So that was a pleasant surprise. The hot bread was hard I was sad about possibly since I ordered to go and the garlic I could tell was homemade big plus. I like my garlic strong however. Other than that. I'll be back to try it again

The food was absolutely amazing. The service however...not so much. I had to physically ask for more water multiple times throughout my lunch as well as more garlic sauce and takeout boxes. My waitress was not attentive to us. I ended up asking another waitress for everything above multiple times before I even got another pitcher of water. I wouldn't sit down and eat here again, but the food was amazing so takeout would still be an option

One of the best Lebanese restaurants in the metro by a long shot. All the bread is homemade. The Fattoush dressing is best I've ever had. Highly recommend the chicken vegetable soup it has a great flavor. The interior is very clean and has a high-end finish. The service is always A+

I chose this restaurant for lunch with a friend who was in this area for personal business, because of its above average reviews on Tripadvisor. I will start by saying I am a Middle Eastern food snob, having visited family in Israel throughout my life. The Middle Eastern fare in Dearborn is equally fantastic. When it comes to Mediterranean food, I do not need a fancy restaurant and fancy presentation to impress me. Just give me authentic, fresh, flavorful, delicious Middle Eastern. My friend and I both ordered from the lunch menu. I wanted to order lamb kebabs, but they only have lamb as leg of lamb. I got the chicken with mushrooms and she got chicken Shawarma. I also ordered a lentil soup, and hummus as the side. The restaurant serves complimentary hot pita and garlic sauce. The chicken with mushrooms was fine. Nothing Middle Eastern about the way it was prepared, however. The hummus was average. The garlic sauce was not prepared to a smooth texture. It was a little bit chunky, which was a first for me. Not super thrilled about that. I would not consider this an authentic Middle Eastern restaurant, but if you have never had vast experiences with that genre of food, I can see how you would enjoy this place as much as anyone. Food aside, our waiter was friendly and prompt, and came by several times, making sure everything was OK. Completely happy with the atmosphere. The place is clean and modern and welcoming. Given my personal snobbery, I probably will not be coming back here again, but I am not dissing it for anyone who just wants an average, somewhat American-Middle Eastern, dining experience.

I shared with my waitress that I follow a particular eating g program where I eat lots of vegetables and no gluten and no extra oil. She checked with the cook to make sure they could cook my vegetables without oil. She returned and asked if they could just apply a scant amount so the garlic would stick to it. I agreed. When I received the vegetables they were bathed in oil. I used several napkins to remove what I could. She said she would send over the manager. Never saw one. Very disappointing. Will not be returning.

I’ve been a customer a long time. However tonight I ordered a large hummus that should serve 4-6 people and I was given 6 small breads. I called to see if this was correct and was told yes. That’s shameful. I will no longer be a customer. That’s ridiculous!

Been a while since I went to this restaurant. A lot has changed. The lakeside location was much better but who knows now. Lentils soup is watered down and bland. Fattoush salad mostly yellow lettuce and pita chips dressing was bland and watered down. The labeneh was good. Bread was hard as rock. Garlic butter was decent. Chicken oregano was actually good. Fries were good. Hamburger was over cooked dried bland worst burger ever, honestly McDonald's is better ( who gets a burger at an Arabic restaurant) . Very short staffed and service was not good. Overall there are many other options for better Arabic food within a few miles.

This place was real nice quiet and comfortable good waiter service with a smile.. I think that a small clean detailing would help.. Only because I own a cleaning company it stands out .. and they are hiring so i understand..But my second time ordering and first dine -in experience was nice.. Falafel was on point... IL be back...
