Awesome place to be they have a great menu very good and nice specials. The burgers are awesome. and good service. Mariesa is the bartender and takes very good car of us and the rest of the staff is very friendly too. gotta try it.

Its a shame. Mcvees is a nice place and the karaoke is really fun. Drawbacks are slow service, as other people have nentioned. The food is good but way overpriced. Likewise, the drinks are expensive!!

This used to be a 5 star review, but times have changed. The bartender, Lauren, left a few months ago and it hasn’t been the same since then. The last 2 times we went there the service from the new bartender was slow to say the least. Very disorganized, slow to mix drinks, and then told our waitress that she was out of cherries and could make one more Old Fashioned for the night and then could make no more! (That’s like a steakhouse saying they can’t serve you a steak because they’re of parsley) The drinks we did order were Old Fashioned’s in name only, pretty weak, too sweet, and just less of a drink. I had the Charbroiled marinated chicken, which tasted OK, but was very salt heavy, and served lukewarm, I actually got heartburn from it lol. That being said our server was top notch, friendly, and never let us what for anything. The new bartender, JJ, is making it a not special place anymore, I wish they could bring back Lauren.
The pub really changed after the bartender Lauren left the business. The new bartender JJ is extremely slow and can’t keep up. She always looks panicked and like a deer in headlights. You’re not staffing enough servers either. You need at least 5-6 for dinner service, especially if you’re booking the patio, and all of those patrons are paying with 14 separate checks on top of it. They’re also standing in a crowd around the bar cashing out and taking up bar seating. If you’re booking the patio require them to have one check and just include a 20% service fee. If you’re slow, just cut servers as the shift progresses. But, the food has not been as good the past three times I’ve been there. This nice pub has turned into a chaotic dive bar atmosphere. I’ve noticed many of the regulars not at the bar anymore☹️

Went this past weekend for a high school graduation. Friends rented the whole place for the afternoon. Excellent buffet style bar food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere!

Tried to order their signature hamburger as carryout over the phone but was forgotten about on hold for 8+ minutes.
I then walked inside and placed a carry out order for their signature hamburger in person. Waited 35 minutes total at the bar before i decided to call them while sitting in their own restaurant. They didn't know who I was for a while and then said it was ready. They still didn't look for me at the bar. The place was emptying out at 7:30pm. I marched myself to their kitchen, confronting their manager and he offered me my cold hamburger without any intelligence. Yes, offered to re cook me a new burger for another i assume 12 minutes. I blinked with hungry rage and left.

McVee’s is the total package for an evening with great food and a cozy, cool atmosphere, including an indoor screened in patio with a sit around fire pit. A notable mention is that Lauren, the Bartender/Manager, is focused on making your experience a positive one. Count on her to have the bar run smoothly along with being attentive, helpful and quick with a refill. Lauren is exceptional.
