This place is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Troy and is the only one that has come close to Kims since they closed. The food and service is always great. This most recent time we got carryout and they forgot our sweet and sour chicken. We called them and the main employee guy (the owners son? from my understanding) came and delivered it to our house HIMSELF. I love the Gung Bo Shrimp. My brother first discovered this place back in the 1990s. My girlfriend likes the food too and often orders beef fried rice, which she likes. Very friendly people there, but I think I've only eaten there in person twice, so I gave a three stars for atmosphere. I am just neutral on the atmosphere because I don't have much experience.
I was having a rough day and dealing with stomach issues and really wanted some soup. My boyfriend surprised me with egg drop soup and it was amazing, made me feel so much better. It was still very hot and very tasty.
My boyfriend got the Mongolian beef and he said it was delicious. He also said the gentleman at the front was very kind and helpful. If you are thinking about trying this place I recommend you absolutely should!
