This is one of the more pricey places in the area while not really giving more than average quality and portion quantity.
Additionally, while we were there, we had a Korean family come in and sit next to us. They ordered almost the same things we did, but their portions were somehow a lot bigger (e.g. 4 mussels in my jjampong and about 3 times that much in theirs. Same with the pork cutlet. Just raised some eyebrows)

My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch and ordered the Jjampong and sweet and sour pork (Tangsuyuk). We really enjoyed both dishes.
The standout for us was definitely the Jjampong. The broth was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. We recently had the chance to try Jjampong at several places in New York and New Jersey, and this one is easily our favorite so far.

The service was also great. The server made sure my friend didn’t get too authentic of a soup and gave good recommendations for beginners.
