This is one of the best places to go for a quick bite and if you want that hole in the wall local spot feel. They have service banchan , and they moved Hmart's restaurant inside so they have all that delicious classic Korean food now as well. The Chicken wings are delicious. The jjajangmyeonang is not very good however. Still have yet to use the karaoke but I love that they have the small private rooms. Will definitely be back again and again.

I love eating here! The food is always amazing — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying every time. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, I always leave happy. Highly recommend!

They moved the hmart restaurant to here. The food is more expensive and I can’t find the same menu items. The katsu doesn’t taste the same or have the same texture, and the portion seems smaller. The sauce is different as well. The self service is still apart of it but a little confusing, I’m sure they will figure it out. I like that you can choose your sides instead of getting random ones. The woman at the register is nice and kept trying to feed my grandma lol. But I probably wouldn’t come back until they can serve the same recipes. I didn’t like the new one.

It looks like they JUST changed management or something because the food used to be great at an awesome value. You used to be able to order katsu curry with a bowl of Udon noodles, that came with a salad and miso soup for a combo value under $20.
Now they removed the free Udon noodles and the latest curry got worse.
Pretty disappointed with the new management direction. I didn't think me and my family will come back here again.
Everything except for the atmosphere was good. Not much cold AC during when I went there only a few fans but I think they are still renovating since they combined with the restaurant inside HMart making it a Korean/japanese street food place.
Food was the same. Tasty Korean food from woorijip. Ramen was good enough nothing that would blow you away.

Unbelievable food and service with incredibly reasonable prices. A true hidden gem of Metro Detroit. Plus, karaoke?!? You won't be disappointed!

We stumble by chance and I have to say how lucky we were,
It has everything that one looks when searching for the good experience in trying something new
Very friendly staff
Good portions
Good prices
And good flavor
All you can eat garnish ( salad bar ) that includes kimchi, gimbap house salad with ginger dressing etc..
They also have a good variety of alcohol
We definitely recommend it
And we will definitely be coming back

First time here since the cafe in H Mart moved to this location right next door. Food seams the same which is good. Prices went up a little but they now have a self service side dish bar that comes with your meal. They had at least 4 choices of side dishes. They were all good.
You pay for the food when you enter just like before but they now bring the food out to you. They bus the tables when you are done too. You can still get your own water and such. So it is kind of a hybrid of self service and table service. My question is tipping? Should we tip for this hybrid service and what percentage?

I tried the pork curry tonkatsu and it was amazing! Well once I got home anyway lol I ordered takeout and the young man who took my order was very nice. It looks really cool inside and I'll have to come back and dine in one day🥰

We came here for dinner and karaoke. Unfortunately, our dining experience was lacking since we were all served at different times with a long wait. The karaoke rooms are in the back of the building, so they were cold and in need of renovations. We had fun with karaoke, but do not plan to dine in again.

Ordered take out. Can tell from the soy sauce that this place is not authentic. Sushi is meh.

You already know it's bad when you walk into a Japanese sushi restaurant and you don't see a single Japanese people working or cooking your food. This place Was good a couple of years ago when they actually had Japanese people cooking your food. Now it's all Mexican. The sushi tasted old, my rice dish was too salty, couldn't get even eat it. How do you mess up rice and beef? If you're looking for ACTUALLY Japanese food. Go somewhere else.

This place used to be really good but not anymore. I live down the street and previously had a bad experience and decided to give it one more try.
The shrimp tempura in my roll was soggy and was not fresh.the fires roll I ordered was barely fried and was subpar to say the least. I was also there to pickup my order early so NO, I did not let it sit very long. The roll itself was put together terribly and the rice is very basic as well. WAY better options near here, I would rather take a drive to Noble and get my money’s worth.
