It's almost as good as Anita's Kitchen on Woodward in Ferndale. However, Basha Grill in Dearborn Hts on Ford road west of Beechdaly is still the reining champ of Middle Eastern cuisine.
The food was delicious, but I was quite disappointed with the service. To start off, the guy that was working was rather rude and acted annoyed that we chose to dine in. This restaurant seems like it is mostly carry out, and I understand that, but there was no reason to act bothered that we wanted to dine in. I placed a large order for a party of 20 people and everything was delicious! Everyone loved the food, and it was packed up exactly how I asked, easy to set up and serve. I appreciate that the restaurant has the option to order meats by the pound. The owner was very helpful and I felt that the pricing was very fair. Would definitely order from here again.
