Delicious and authentic Polish food, great atmosphere, and kind staff. Many choices of food and drinks. We enjoyed Polish rosół (chicken noodle soup), which was absolutely amazing! Also, pork chops with mashed potatoes and coleslaw were delicious. It all definitely hit the spot. Furthermore, they have Polish beer and other drinks to complete the meal. Best Polish Food around!
Best Polish food around. Dill pickle soup is the best I have had. Pierogi are pinched by hand. Meat filled pierogi & cucumbers & sour cream are excellent. Leave room for dessert. The Polish beers are a must.
We ordered the feast platter, everything was delicious! Margie, our waitress, was a gem! Wow, what a personality her service alone will bring us back.
Excellent food and service!!
Was there for a 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Visit Wawel to be transported back to Poland. We love the “Feast” which gets two people Polish pork chops, kielbasa and kapusta, golabski, Polish meatballs, city chicken, pierogi and mashed potatoes with potato pancakes. Heavenly food for a small investment.
Very good and authentic Polish food and very good service. The waiters/waitresses were very hospital.
My favorite Detroit area Polish restaurant!
Large portion very good homemade cooking.

Wawel has terrific food! The dill pickle soup is so good, as are the potato pancakes. Everything we've ever had from there has been excellent. We highly recommend making a stop here.

Not the most hip and happening place, but the food and service is top notch. If you're in the mood for some authentic polish treasures, don't hesitate.
Service is also great. Margie will make you feel like you're at a family gathering.

Sauerkraut was horrible. It tasted days old. My son only ate one bite if the goulash and said it was horrible. I'm so disappointed. I've waited a long time to try this place. Now I'll never go back. $60.00 wasted
Perfect in every way
