A somewhat large group of us (8 adults) stopped in there last night after dinner at Farrand Hall for drinks and appetizers. Our waitress was top notch!!! I wish I could remember her name, but she was absolutely fabulous!!! We were there about 9:30pm and it was busy but she was wonderful. Our group is from the Lansing/St. Johns/Williamston area and I know my husband and I for sure will try to be back someday soon!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!!
Great little place downtown! We came though on a whim on our way back from Lake Michigan on a Sunday night. Had to wait a little bit, due to a large party being served as well, but that's to be expected anywhere. The food was great! Gave us that down-home, mom and pop feel. We'll definitely be back!
Went in yesterday with family, food was OK. Not like I had remembered. Service was OK as well. Some delays and forgotten items. An 18% gratuity was added to our bill because we had more than 6 people which is normal, but the server commented that she doesn't get any of that 18% and that if we don't tip on top of that she won't get a tip. Not sure if I agree with a restaurant doing that (if that's what they're actually doing).
