“This little place has the MOST amazing staff!! They know the menu, provide fantastic service and are so welcoming! We went tonight, Taco Thursday, yum!! Our waitress, Connie, is always so amazing and makes us feel like we are family! Everything was decorated for Halloween and it was so cute! We are a middle aged couple (I guess?), with a 12 year old and this is and has been one of our favorites!! We have noticed that since COVID, most restaurants are lacking in service, but Connie keeps us coming back❤️. We have plenty of options, as we are situated in Elkhart (Mishawaka, Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury, Edwardsburg are always options) but are happy to drive to Zimmy’s! So…no, not just a bar for locals, we have always been very warmly welcomed and have had great service and food! Connie 1 makes us feel like we are visiting family and we love her!Kid-friendliness: We have been bringing our daughter since she was eight and she has made BFFs with the waitress! Great food choices and Connie always makes suggestions that might me suited for our daughter!“

“First time here, and BOY WAS IT PACKED. Told we'd have a 45 minute to an hour wait but ended up about 20. The cheese nugs were absolute heaven with creamy mozzarella inside a panko bread and fried just right. I couldn't decide between the Hawaiian style burger or the mushroom one...so I got both. The Hawaiian burger had a sweet teriyaki glaze but not overly so and a grilled pineapple ring on a pretzel bun. Was amazing. Took the shroom burger to go! Wife had their fish and mojos and she devoured the whole plate. Karlee B took great care of us while a huge party of about 40 was in the room next to us. Even with that chaos she still checked in on us and was a very wonderful part of our date night. We capped off the meal with their elephant ear fries and caramel sauce and I'm now writing this from a sugar coma. 15/10 for this gem of a place in Elkhart and we'll definitely be back.“

“we are from out of town and stopped at thr Chubby trout on the recommendation of our hotel. the atmosphere is awesome thr staff is friendly and the food is great. Our waitress Yesnia was efficient, friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely go back and recommend to anyone.“

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here last night. We could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was incredibly helpful during planning the event, the bartenders Jordan and Sinclair were the absolute nicest people we could have gotten. The drinks were great, the food was amazing, and the building was beautiful. Absolutely would recommend them for any event or a night out!“

“I just happen to be in the area, trying to pass time. I decided to Google a restaurant close by. I came across several in the area but their ratings were not so good.However, Simeri's rating was acceptable so I decided to give it a shot.The environment was very warm, comfortable, and clean.The staff was very friendly and courteous. The other patrons were friendly as well. They were eager to greet my friend and I without hesitation...(Jess and her Dad) That made us feel a little more at ease.I was supposed to return Thursday for the live band but unfortunately, I was unable to. “Great local bar with awesome bartenders ! ... the daily lunch specials are fantastic especially the chilli ! ... its the best in town.Since I started working in Elkhart and found this gem of a place it's the only place I go now ... Highly recommended if you like hometown bars with great food you must stop in and give it a try.“

“Great Bar and grill. Reminds me of Cheer where everyone knows everyone. Pretty low key, working man's place. Great owners and staff . Kaylee is amazing and very attentive. Very outgoing and great personality. The service dogs I think help me too as well as other patrons deal with the everyday stress. I love this place“

“This was the first time my husband and I ate here. It was amazing! We can't wait to come back and try something else. My husband had the Walleye. I had the Bacon Jam burger. That was the best burger I've ever eaten. The Romano fries were so good. You really need to eat them to appreciate how good they are.“

“Came for the first time St.Pattys day 2023. I sat at the bar and just watched. It was a great little spot. Hometown feel with great smiles and really good food. The corned beef and cabbage dinner was exquisite. I plan to visit often and eat and drink until the golf course is warm enough to play. ;-)“
