“I was traveling for work and was looking for a local place to eat and get a cold snack. I found the Flippin Cow was about a mile from my hotel.
Small place with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were pretty friendly and attentive. Typical variety of off the shelf cold snacks but they also offered some of thier own speciality drinks.
Typically type of menu items for this type of establishment but let me tell you... the cook know how to properly cook a flavorful smash burger. I was so impressed that I went back 2 more times during my stay in Elkhart.
If you want a fantastic smash burger without all the franchise noise and distractions... Flipping Cow is your place to go... just don't tell all of your friends... I still want to be able to get a seat when I stop by there next time.“

“Food is great. The parking lot, entrance, and drive thru was designed for bicycles. It is so cramped, tiny, and difficult to navigate it’s almost not worth going through the hassle.“

“First time trying FG. The fries are so delicious! The burger was alright. We had the bacon cheeseburger. Wasn't absolutely amazing but it was good. I live in Washington State so it's cool how they post where the potatoes come from. Next, I'd try the beef hotdog.“

“I have went to other BK's in the area, and they're never open in the later hours. I work nights and this place is usually the only one that's open! Always great service from the employees, being how busy they can get. Also, short staffed. Courteous and quick!“

“Haven't ate at steak n shake in years. Recently tried their shake for the first time in 20 years. Wow! Delicious and affordable. Tried lunch there today and for 5.99 the double cheese and fries are so good for the money! So happy to have found a new place to give my money to besides McDonald's and burger king.“
