The service was fast and lovely, and the food was great! Highlights: rodeo burger and onion petals. The fish and patty melt were also good. Our group wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw (lots of raw onion) personally, and the fries were definitely good, but also definitely paled in comparison to the onion petals.
It’s up north and has everything you’d need. Pool? Check. Dollar bill stapled to the bar? Check. A pile of elk antlers? Check. The portions are huge, the food and service are absolutely fantastic. Truly a home away from home. The table got the patty melt, the olive burger, the bluegill, and pictured is the perch. Absolutely zero complaints. If you’re driving by it’s worth a stop.
I vacation near Vanderbilt every year during mushroom season and found the Elkhorn Grill several years back. I highly recommend them for the variety and quality of the food they serve and the service is amazing! I’ve never had a bad dish and I’ve tried nearly everything they serve! They treat you like family and the atmosphere is always amazing!
