The setting is wonderful! Service was attentive & friendly. Delicious food! We had the apple salad, halibut, short rib & wine! Delicious! We sat indoors but the weather was terrific so couldn't go wrong either way.
Since 1891, Walloon Lake Inn has been serving excellent dinners, cocktails and wine.
Large indoor dining room with windows overlooking the lake. Large outdoor seating area in season. Cozy bar with a few seats and live piano on weekends.
Menu fairly consistent with house truffle fries a must order. We tried the snapper since whitefish wasn’t on the menu and a creamy chicken dish. Excellent wedge salad.

Overall another very good meal at Walloon Lake Inn. We really enjoy the setting, quality of the food as well as the friendliness of the staff. Definitely recommend for a nice evening out or for a more formal occasion. A special place in Northern Michigan!
