I had an awesome dinner with wonderful friends and the service we received was fast, efficient and friendly. A special thanks to our waitress, Jessica, for going above and beyond to make our meal great! The restaurant was very clean and the bussing staff made sure everything was cleared as we were finishing.

The quality of food was really poor. The "turkey" was highly processed and reformed. The perogies were good but the restaurant forgot to add my sour cream and side salad to the order. Pretty disappointed and I won't be going back. The mashed potatoes were decent though. Plus, all this styrofoam for 5 perogies? Rethink your packaging to something more sustainable.

It was okay. My mom and I have been going there for years, since it was across the street. The new owners are doing a decent job. The quality doesn't seem to have changed that much, it never was a 5 star place really. The thing that really bothered me was that my mom's salsbury steak looked like it had been deep fried ?

This restaurant is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Anytime I visit this place I am remarkably satisfied. They maintain their high level service and the topmost level of food they offer. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.

The food was tasty, I can't take that away from this place. Let's not talk about the service. The staff is welcoming and they are nice but I think when there is a problem with the food. They shut down and avoid the issue at hand. The chicken for the salad came to me it table raw. When we brought it to the waitress attention, it wasn't a instant "omg I am so sorry, let's get another one made". It was her seeing if we were ok with just taking the raw pieces out and keeping it. That is my perception of her thoughts and maybe not her actual thoughts. When the new salad came to the table it was cooked very well and was very tasty. Now I ordered my chopped sirloin medium and in the picture it's obvious that parts of it were borderline raw. The only person to ask me about my food was the waitress that wasn't helping our table. She asked if the chopped steak was ok and I said it was ok. She asked again if it was cooked fine and I'm ok with it. I should have pressed the issue but I just wanted to head out. Never heard anything about the undercooked chicken after the initial request to the waitress. No manager apologizing or anything. They did charge me for both meals (which is justified because we did consume both meals), but it would have been nice to have some more acknowledgement from the staff about the raw chicken. It would have made me feel different and be ok with returning to Friars. Because of the lack of caring we received. I will not be returning to this place.

After lunch I had a concern when I was charged for an item that should have been included in my order. When I told the cashier she called, Nick, the manager. All Nick did was give me a blank stare the entire time that I explained and when I asked his opinion he never said a word. I assume he didn't speak English and that would be ok, but as a manager he should have been able to discuss a customers concern and if not have a plan to ask someone for help.

This spot is great and roomy, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very reasonable. rapidly, efficient service and very amiable waiters. Will definitely recommend this spot.

I like friars I think there soup is really good. The servers are usually friendly. I would say it is an okay place to go.
I have gone here a few times and always enjoy the food. Its really cool they always have 10 different soups available everyday.

We've been going here for years, but since being sold, the food has consistently gone downhill. Today we went there for Thanksgiving dinner and were again disappointed. In addition to mediocre service and food, although the turkey dinner came with a piece of pumpkin pie (which they no longer bake there), because we were ready to leave and didn't want to eat it there, we weren't allowed to take it with us as a carryout. We're done. Will not be returning again.
