“just tried for the first time after multiple coworkers told me I had to get it. I ordered a BYO bowl with falafel and it was delicious! The bowls are huge and definitely enough to either spilt with someone or save for leftovers. I ordered online and picked it up at the front cou ter easily. Workers were super kind and helpful.“

“My husband and I were in the area, and stopped in. This place is amazing! The people are so friendly, and the food is delicious. My husband had the Gyro Bowl. The bowl holds a ton of food! He said it was good too, and has leftovers for lunch. I had the grape leaves, which are the best I have had in quite awhile. If we lived closer, we would make this one of our regular spots.“

“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. I ordered a corner bowl with chicken shawarma, various vegetables, hummus, and garlic. First of all, it was MASSIVE. This bowl will definitely last me a couple of days!! Secondly, it is AMAZING! Very fresh, hearty, and flavorful.

“Glad they are here and making their products with FRESH fruit unlike the place across the street which essentially sells expensive Slushies. However, I won’t be a regular here unless they start having some organic options. What’s the point of eating fresh fruit if I’m getting big doses of pesticides, fungicides, fertilizer etc?“

“I did not get both of the girls names working behind the counter, but they were both very friendly.I was very impressed with the woman taking the orders at the counter, there was a customer in front of me who was very interested and inquisitive about the different menus options and juice bundles. The girl at the counter was very patient, knowledgeable and informative to the customer. I respected and appreciated that because I have been there before.I noticed the other customer had many questions and quietly stepped aside to place my order through the application. Not to rush anyone as I was in no hurry, but just so I could scroll through and make sure I ordered everything I needed.When everything was all caught up the girl who was running the counter handed me my juice, she was very friendly and the juice was fantastic! I enjoyed talking to her while the other girl was making the food on my order with care, she was also very friendly and the food turned out amazing.I prefer the Shelby Township location because I always have a good experience here. I never go in in a hurry and understand it takes time to prepare such delicious healthy food while taking care of customers with a good, bright, positive attitude.Even though there is a location closer to my house, I prefer this location and do not mind the extra drive for the quality of product they put out, and their wonderful customer service. They are always patient and pay attention to detail. They answer questions and concerns with knowledge and kindness.Thank you for being the best part of my day, by being beyond wonderful, beyond caring, and making me feel beyond great.

“I think that the bad reviews are not true. I always come here for birria tacos and they are delicious 🤤 so juicy and flavorful. I like the rice and beans too. And the prices are pretty good for this area. The meat always tastes fresh. I would say that getting it fresh in the restaurant is probably better than ordering it online!“
