Please do not get Hong Kong Express of Waterford twisted with Hong Kong Clarkston. Hong Kong Express has THE best Chinese food in Waterford, simply amazing and always hot! My daughter made the mistake of ordering Door Dash from Hong Kong Clarkston and its a mistake we won't make again. 😬
I’ve lived in Waterford for 21 years, and this is by far my favorite little dive Chinese restaurant. The customer service is always phenomenal, and the food is consistently delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Their sweet and sour chicken is the best, the almond chicken is amazing, and the wonton soup is always excellent. On top of that, the portions are huge — enough food for 2–3 meals every time.
Service was fast and very nice.
Tried the sesame chicken with fried rice, egg roll, and a side of crab rangoon.
Best egg roll I've had, crispy yet soft to the bite, fresh on the inside.
Crab Rangoon was too onion forward for my taste, a lot of onion.
Fried rice was solid, could've used some of that onion they used in the rangoons
