Been a regular customer for over 8 years and won’t be recommending IT or going out of my way to come back. The food quality has dropped substantially while prices are higher than ever. Chicken Boxty was always the go to and now they’re hard to eat (chicken is like rubber) and fries are an additional upcharge now. You’re paying ~$18 for a Boxty now… Service, and atmosphere about the same other than the loss of other regulars we saw coming here for years. Get your act together IT, you’ve really fallen off a cliff.

This used to be our favorite spot until they got rid of the curry fries. So sad! :( food is really good otherwise, but now we never eat here.

Me and the boys stopped by for dinner. Many Irish good meals to choose from. Entertainment was a added plus.

The dang AC is always broken. It’s only 90 degrees out, you’d figure they would fix it

IT is one of me and my husbands favorite restaurants in Waterford! Food and service is always on point! Love the $1 wing Mondays.

We've been coming to Irish Tavern for a little over a year now. Every time we've visited the staff is outstanding and shows professionalism with a light-hearted atmosphere.

Highly recommend a visit if you're new to town looking for a bite or just a drink!

If you aren't sure, get the chicken strips, you won't be disappointed.

Great fish-n-chips! And they had my favorite Irish red ale, Smithwicks! 😃 Server was very nice, too. I’ll be back.

The Irish Tavern in Waterford is a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere and great service. Their menu offers a solid variety of comfort food and pub favorites, but the real standout is the bread pudding—hands down the best in Michigan. It’s rich, warm, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. I’ll come back for the dessert alone!

Perfect little local bar to go to for a good beer and food. Bathrooms are a little gross but otherwise a cute place that looks a lot bigger on the inside than on the outside!
