I can’t speak to in-house service or atmosphere. But we’ve been getting the same exact takeout (chicken subgum chop suey) here for years, so it’s easy to compare. It was good for awhile, then really went way down in quality. But now for the last 2 orders in 3 months, it has noticeably improved and is excellent! Fresh green crisp vegetables and tender chicken- $14/quart which is plenty for two. Not sure if the change is in ownership or chef, but whatever it is, it’s great again!

This is a great place. Been coming here for decades. The owners are great people and very kind. The food it top notch. Good quality. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and very comfortable. The food it a bit pricey but that's ok. If I had one issue with Wing Lauk it is a certain waitress. She is an older lady with short hair and she does not have a good personality. Other than that, everything else is great.

First time here today and both my husband and I had lunch specials which were a great deal. I had Beijing Cicken which was really good! My husband got Gkun Bo Gai (Chicken) which he liked except it had WAY too much celery! Rice and egg rolls were good, but nothing served real hot except the tea. The Wonton soup was Luke warm and the strips were a bit harder than I’m use to. The waitress was really most unpleasant to say the least! Acted like she couldn’t be bothered. She did do her job effectively but dam! Be a little decent to customers, after all without us you wouldn’t have a job! On the fence if we will be back. I do give second chances.

I went to lunch with an elderly person who needed help with the menu and was hard of hearing. I was so upset at the way the server treated her. She was rude, short tempered, and unnecessarily nasty. What happened? This used to be a good place. I felt so bad for my elderly friend who didn’t deserve to be treated this way.

As a celiac of 8 years i haven't had chinese food since then. It was the best food I've had in a while. I had an hour drive home and it was still warm by the time I got there. The gluten free options were pretty good. We will be returning

This is by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Got the orange chicken dinner and sweet n sour chicken dinner, chicken was overcooked for both, rice portions were basically nothing compared to every other place I’ve ordered. Just overall horrible. I will never order here again.
Both of our Wonton soups were luke warm, obviously not being held at safe temperature. When asked waitress if could warm it, she said not one word just took away annoyed. Returned soup not warmed up, served our meal with extra fly spice! No apology, never said a word! No big deal fly in your chicken

This is my favorite chinese dining in option. Been coming here since I was a young girl. Food is always delicious and the family that owns it is so welcoming. My sister lives in Texas now, but Wing Lauk is an absolute MUST for her to visit when she comes to Michigan.

I got an orange chicken dinner combo and a beef and broccoli dinner combo. Absolutely nothing was good. The chicken was way overcooked and the sauce was like gelatin. The beef and broccoli had almost no flavor. The rice was also very overcooked and bland. I'm very disappointed, especially considering the price. Definitely will not be back.
