Several friends met here for breakfast to celebrate a friend's 80th birthday. They couldn't have been more accommodating. The food and service was excellent. We had a great time.
I came in from Indianapolis and needed some coffee and a meal. Found this little gem of a place. Good food, good coffee - great experience. Lots of locals frequent this establishment and everyone seemed to know each other. I got some curious stares when I walked in (like who is this person?!) but all were super friendly. I sat and ate quietly while soaking in the local flavor. If ever I’m back in Watervliet, I would definitely return!
The food was hot. Service was fast.
I ordered the spinach omelet that had spinach, Swiss cheese, ham, onions and mushrooms. The mushrooms were canned not fresh. My husband ordered the hash brown omelet. He said it was tasty and hot.
The cafe is small. Maybe 10 tables at most. I only saw two servers which is appropriate for the cafe size. If you want to have a private conversation this is probably not the place for you. It is very cramped in side. Try it for yourself....
