Took a vacation trip to see a great lake, this gem was very close to our hotel. Small town bar atmosphere where everyone local knows eachother. The waitress that waited on my family and I was very kind, made sure that everyone was taken care of. We didn't even have to ask for extra napkins. The food was phenomenal. I personally ordered the Brisket Mac n Cheese. Served in a skillet, the cheese was bubbly golden brown. Brisket here is so juicy and tender I dream of tasting it again sitting back home. Highly recommend this place!

The food was amazing I have never in my 21 years of life had brisket this good I got the brisket nachos and I looooved it. the service was incredible despite how incrediblely busy they were and the waitresses were just so kind. no matter what you get you will be pleased. I would recommend anyone to go to this place 10 out of 10

Good food for dive bar. Love the small town every one knows every one. Staff can get overwhelmed when real busy but they do their best. Largest complaint is the echo inside real loud. But they have out door seating.

We love it at the Watervliet Tjs!!! David is awesome and comes up with great specials! The food is always great! But the star of tjs is definitely kylie! She is beautiful and perfect and the best server we have ever had at any restaurant weve been to! Dont forget to give her your tip!!!

I would have always gotten a hand pressed burger from TJ’s before but yesterday 12/06/25 I ordered the TJ’s classic burger and it was bad. Really bad. Medium is what I ordered. It was well done. The bun was cheap. Looks nice but when you press down on it, it’ll just flatten instantly.
The part that really bummed me out was that it was a frozen burger patty. You could tell. Cheap stuff you buy in bulk. Wasn’t worth it. Took two bites and said no thanks.
Also, sync the juke box with the house music. Otherwise anytime someone plays from it, you have two songs going at once and now you are annoying everyone and wasted someone’s money.
