The staff is personable without being intrusive. We’ve been twice recently and both times the experience was outstanding. And the food was delicious. The clam chowder is worth the trip on its own.
The last time I was at Red Coat Tavern, was 3 years ago. It still looks the same. It's kind of a dark atmosphere, lots of tables crammed in together, but the food quality is excellent. I ordered the Tenderloin tips for an appetizer, which came with Cajun spices and a Cajun cream sauce. Not as spicy as I was anticipating, which is good. I didn't want to melt my taste buds before I got to the real reason I came. There are few places in my opinion that make a great Chicken Pot Pie....read full review
