“Giving a shout out to Sunrise Cafe in Lupton, Michigan. Last evening we were gathered and I was surprised by an unexpected visit from my daughter and her husband from Kentucky. I write this because Sunrise Cafe has been around for many years. There were 3 generations in attendance last night, the 1st having seen it built and yes even one in attendance worked there as a teen. The Cafe is a homey , friendly establishment with great food. Be sure to order their onion rings, homemade too. As one person said, "It is a icon of the area". The staff are very cordial. The owner floats through helping as-needed and yes even talking and joking with the people at all times. I want to thank Sunrise Cafe for the wonderful night that was enjoyed, the excellent care our server Summer gave. The cleanliness of the facility is to be appreciated as well. Closed on Tuesdays, If in the area stop in.“
