“I honestly had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered over the phone and she was very upfront about how long everything would take and made sure that I was okay with it. Everything was ready when I arrived, and I spoke to the owner for a long time. She works by herself and is a nice little grandma so its wonderful that she is following her passion. The food itself was a bit pricey but I am happy to pay it to support a small local business. Everything tasted very good, and the portion sizes were large. The egusi was great but the cassava leaf soup was even better, with large portions of goat in each. I personally had a great experience and would recommend to others.“

The service was provided in a timely fashion even though I placed a last minute emergency order they made sure to tell me not to panic and made sure that my birthday party was a total success. I recommend them to everyone whether it’s catering or a single plate dinner the options are incredible and the Mac and cheese is to die for !“

“I recommend the chicken, ribs, yams and Mac…. Even the koolaid was freaking amazing! I’m a very indecisive person and when I walked in, I couldn’t choose, so I just ordered everything I knew I’d eventually eat. One rib dinner is def enough for two meals. The wing dings were amazing too! And it travels well. Lord knows that delivery man was very easy on the eyes! Fast, fresh, friendly, SEASONED, authentic food for the soul! “The food here was so good I loved the Rasta pasta and it was on special and I got so much for the price and it was amazing. I also had the smothered pork chops omg it was so good it melted in my mouth. The smothered pork chops were on special buy one dinner get one dinner free. The peach cobbler was to die for and the greens and Mac reminds me of my grandmothers so delicious!!!! The staff was super friendly I will be back soon!“

“This review is based mainly on my personal preferences. I got fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, collards, dressing, gravy and cornbread. The chicken breast was delicious, but overcooked and dry. Potatoes and gravy were fine. The dressing had good flavor but I didn’t care for the consistency. The collards were good except they were too salty. The cornbread was very good. I will order again and try other offerings.“
