“Shundia greeted us with a beautiful smile and was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. I got the catfish, black eyed peas, and collard greens. This is predominantly a carryout restaurant but they do have 4 booths you can sit at if you wish to eat there. Will definitely be going back to try some of their other options.“

Nobody in Detroit makes Salmon croquets served with rice and gravy 😋 (my preference over grits)👌with scrambled eggs as good as J's does. I’m a very indecisive person and when I walked in, I couldn’t choose, so I just ordered everything I knew I’d eventually eat. One rib dinner is def enough for two meals. “I was referred over to this place by a friend as we were discussing good bbq. I’m originally from the Midwest but spent my formative years in the Deep South. And hadn’t had great bbq in a while. Came this way to taste their so called amazing Beef Ribs but when I got here they were sold out so I settled for what I found out to be one the BEST DAMN CATFISH SANDWICHES I HAVE EVER HAD!!! (Yeah I know it wasn’t the bbq we had talked about). So I decided to come back because of the dang catfish sandwich. MAN I AM SO DAMN GLAD I DID!!!! Their BEEF RIBS AND RIB TIPS ARE FREAKING DELICIOUS!!!! A very friendly, clean well run environment. Every time I am in town I stop in here and it’s a hike because I stay in the Canton, MI area when I’m in town. Can’t say enough good things about BBQ Central. Everyone needs to try this spot. “The food and owner are amazing! We used her for catering a memorial service for 60 people. There was a ton of food and everything was ate with pans scraped! The owner worked with us and our budget. She was such a blessing to our family during this hard time. People couldn’t get over how good the food was! I’ll definitely be using her again for future events and just dinner!“

“listen the first time I came here I didn’t even get nothing I was just with my cousin doing a doordash order with her , was just picking up somebody order but something told me that I need to come back and eat from here. So yesterday and today I finally order some food from here and man when I tell you it is so good! I’ve never tasted Mac n cheese that actually tasted good from a restaurant , no matter where I went Mac n cheese would only always taste better at home. But this place? Oh yeah they got it down PACK the best Mac n cheese I done had from a restaurant and them lamb chops is so so good.“
