Location: 204 E Grand River, Williamston. Store has been almost constantly busy all summer. Softserve ice cream. Very good flavor & consistency. Not as rich tasting as regular ice cream or frozen custard. Reasonably priced. Small dish for abt $3. Small sundae with abt 4 toppings for abt $5. Very quick, friendly, even cheerful service. Recommend this place.
The novelty of eating ice cream out of a plastic batter's helmet or colorful plastic trash can has a special appeal to kids. If one kid gets one and another (related or from another table) sees this, they say, "Aww, why didn't I get one?" It seeds desire for a future visit.It worked on my kids. Well, on one. I have a Spads Twister around the corner from my house in Lansing and this was my first time going to the Williamston one and it was even better. Fast fast fast I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen they where on point. The biggest best ? split I've had in decades.
