It’s a shame we don’t live in the area so we could put this place in our regular rotation. Lots of parking, atmosphere is kind of Cracker Barrel meets dive bar, in a good way! went in for some take out. ordered pulled pork sammy with fries and slaw on side. neither the fries nor the slaw made it to the box. bbq combo at least everything was in box. brisket was pretty solid. ribs were from yesterday at best. drier than popcorn fart. collard greens were tasteless and a poor example. a positive note was the bartender. Great service efficient and a good stiff drink. side note chicken had no color to it
A hidden gem in Willis! The BBQ is really good (pro tip: burnt ends) and if you're in the mood for a steak or a burger they ace those too. The staff is great and the owner is a real character. Honestly the only knock on the place is if you're there with your kids sometimes it gets a little rowdy, especially in the outdoor seating area.
