The food and service was amazing as always. However, we were seated on the far side of the patio and the weather was much too cold today for patio seating. We were very cold even in our heavy jackets for our entire meal.
My wife saw on Facebook that the family is selling Volare and Alex's. You can see below from my review after a recent visit to Volare my family's history with both restaurants. From weekly meals at Volare to grabbing lunch carryout's at Alex's to Volare catering our daughters High School graduation party in 2008 at our house we have a long history with the family. Congratulations to Alex and Maria on their retirement and to Dino and the rest of the family...
I had never eaten inside on a Friday night. The noise level is very loud. I couldn't hear my friend across the table. Maybe the other diners were exceptionally loud? Or maybe the owners should install some damping in the ceiling. Food is consistently good, service is always kind.
